Set Recent Grads on the Road to Financial Success

It’s officially the end of the school year, and many of your younger credit union members likely just celebrated years of hard work by tossing their graduation caps high in the air.

The periods right after high school and college are pivotal for establishing healthy money management habits and setting young adults on the road to financial wellness.

Northwest credit unions are fiercely dedicated to promoting financial literacy to students of all ages. In fact, data collected through the Community Impact Reporting Tool shows 207,000 youth across Idaho, Washington, and Oregon benefitted from free financial education resources in 2019, thanks to credit unions!

To help you share some basic money know-how with your newly graduated members, NWCUA has added two new blog posts and two eye-catching infographics to its Marketing Resource Center.

The blogs, one geared toward members who have finished high school and another intended for college graduates, may be shared as-is or customized to feature your credit union’s specific products, tools, and resources. They may be posted on your website blog, in a newsletter to members, or on social media.
