Northwest Credit Unions’ Exceptional Marketing Honored with 2021 Diamond Awards
Thirteen credit unions enjoyed some well-deserved time in the spotlight last month during CUNA’s Diamond Awards Week.
During the virtual Diamond Awards Week last month, the CUNA Marketing and Business Development Council announced this year’s winners of the prestigious awards, recognizing credit unions’ creativity, innovation, excellence, and execution in marketing campaigns.
Of 1,278 submitted entries across 35 categories, six credit unions won Best of Show Awards, 86 won Category’s Best Awards, and 264 won Diamond Awards.
In the Northwest, 13 credit unions shone brightly among the winners, receiving awards for thoughtful and unique campaigns that increased brand awareness with current and potential members, as well as within their communities.
STCU’s unique and data-driven “Dear member” stories garnered praise and plenty of laughs across the industry, earning two “Best of Show” awards, including “Best use of Humor.” The credit union was also recognized for crisis management, an award that holds the most meaning for its 750 staff members.
“This sustained effort touches every corner of the credit union, with every department showing extreme flexibility, compassion and creativity,” said Ezra Eckhardt, President and CEO. “I couldn’t be more proud of our team.”
Whether their campaigns were funny, multifaceted, or educational, these credit unions harnessed the power of creativity to make an impact.
