New Resources Available to Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union Campaign Contributors

New resources are available for contributors of the Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union awareness campaign.

The Credit Union Awareness team encourages contributing credit unions to visit the Contributor HQ for the latest messaging and advertising collateral, including two brand-new videos they can customize and share on their organic social media channels.

The campaign’s self-service portal lets credit unions track website traffic from YourMoneyFurther.com. Here’s a brief tutorial from a contributor — Travis Eubanks at MembersOwn Credit Union — on how credit unions can maximize their listings on the site.

The Credit Union Awareness team recently gathered feedback in a contributor survey. A top takeaway showed a lack of clarity between the campaign’s purpose and how credit unions can connect with it on a local level. A video was created to further explain the campaign’s goals and ways that credit unions can connect their current marketing to the campaign.

Launched nationally in 2019 and in the Northwest in 2020, the Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union awareness campaign aims to increase credit union consideration among consumers looking for a financial services partner.

Throughout 2020 in the Northwest, the campaign’s digital ads earned more than 125 million impressions and its videos were viewed nearly 18 million times, according to the Credit Union Awareness team’s analytics. The full presentation and report may be viewed online.

For more information about the campaign, visit CUNA’s website. To ensure contributors receive Credit Union Awareness newsletters and updates, credit unions are encouraged to safelist emails from CUNA.
