Share the Credit Union Economic and Community Impact Story Today!

Last week, the Northwest Credit Union Association launched a new suite of resources available to all NWCUA member credit unions. The shareable content includes rich data on the many ways the region’s credit unions positively impacted their economies and communities in 2019 and through January to June of 2020.

Credit unions are encouraged to share the reports and social media posts with their audiences throughout 2021 as they advocate to further the Movement with lawmakers, consumers, community partners, and other key audiences.

Community data was contributed by credit unions through NWCUA’s Community Impact Reporting Tool (CIRT). The tool tracks Northwest credit unions’ collective focus on financial well-being, volunteerism, charitable contributions, special lending to rural communities, first-time homebuyers, and other key data points. The powerful economic impact report was prepared by economists at ECONorthwest, one of the region’s most respected economic firms.
