ECONorthwest and Community Impact Reporting Tool Resource Center Now Live

Northwest credit unions now have access to a suite of online resources that tell the region’s story of economic and community impact.

The resource center is packed with useful content, including state-by-state reports, infographics, shareable social media posts, powerful real member stories, and more. Credit unions can customize this collateral and share the impact in their own communities.

The statistics, gathered through ECONorthwest analysis and the Community Impact Reporting Tool, span from January of 2019 to June of 2020, and include impactful infographics focused solely on credit unions’ COVID-19 services.

“NWCUA is grateful to the many Northwest credit unions who participated in the Community Impact Reporting Tool. Their powerful stories will be amplified even further with this data, which wouldn’t have been possible without their participation and leadership,” said NWCUA VP of Communications and Public Affairs, Lynn Heider. “Throughout the first-half of 2020, credit unions rapidly responded to members, Main Street, and their communities. These numbers are especially important to share with lawmakers, as we continue to advance the Credit Union Movement.”

NWCUA also will share this information with the media, further building on the industry’s public awareness efforts, and the Association Advocacy Team will implement these tools throughout 2021, as Northwest credit unions collectively continue to advance the industry’s priorities.

Questions about the content may be directed to Lynn Heider. If you have questions about the data, please contact NWCUA AVP of Enterprise Engagement, Christine Ruzzi.
