North Coast Credit Union Launches Heartwarming Valentine’s Day Photo Contest
The credit union asked members to send in photos of the people, places, and things they love most for a chance at a $25 DoorDash gift card.
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, North Coast Credit Union is keeping things sweet all month long.
On Feb. 1, the credit union, headquartered in Bellingham, Washington, launched its “Share What You Love” photo contest on social media, asking members to share images of what they hold nearest and dearest to their hearts.
“With so much still looming over us we wanted to put a positive spin on this contest, so of course, tying into the Month of Love was a natural choice,” said Carol Anderson, VP of Marketing.
North Coast knows the quickest way to someone’s heart is through their stomach. Every day, members who submit a photo have a chance to win a $25 DoorDash gift card. By the end of the contest on Feb. 26, there will be 20 winners in total.
“We like giving the DoorDash gift cards because it supports our local restaurants, and who doesn’t appreciate having a meal delivered right to your home?” said Anderson.
So far, members have sent in dozens of photos featuring beloved family members, friends, and pets, as well as favorite hobbies, relaxing scenic landscapes, and more.
This marks the credit union’s third photo contest, and Anderson says member engagement has skyrocketed.
“We have seen a big increase in the number of photos submitted since we started this,” she said. “We expect to have well over 100 photos posted by the end of the month.”
Members’ submitted photos can be viewed on North Coast’s blog.
