Northwest credit unions will have the opportunity to attend an informative webinar on Oct. 20, from 11 a.m. to noon PDT (noon – 1 p.m. MDT), to hear updates around the Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union awareness campaign.
Co-hosted by the Credit Union National Association and the Northwest Credit Union Association, the webinar will focus on Northwest and national analytics collected between May and July, and will share top performing ads; key benchmarks; new, forward-focused messaging concepts; the campaign’s next steps; and more. All credit union leaders, marketers, and communicators are encouraged to attend.
The national campaign, which launched throughout Idaho, Oregon, and Washington in January of this year, aims to increase credit union consideration among consumers and dispel the myths that they can’t join or that their funds won’t be secure at a credit union.
After a brief pause to re-examine messaging at the height of COVID-19, the campaign was relaunched nationwide in May and now targets five key audience groups — individuals ages 20-55 and spanning a range of financial and life stages, from recent grads to empty-nesters.
