Credit Union Insurer, American Share Insurance, Announces Management Team Change
Chief Financial Officer, Curt Robson, has retired from the corporation after three decades of service.
After more than 29 years of dedicated service to American Share Insurance and the credit union system, Curt Robson, CFO and Vice President of Finance, has retired from the corporation. ASI expresses its gratitude to Robson for his three decades of unwavering commitment and wishes him the best in his retirement.
Filling Robson’s position is Peter Love, CPA. Love is a graduate of Ohio State University. A Chartered Global Management Accountant, Love joined ASI in September 2018 under a succession program instituted by the ASI Board of Directors, where he worked closely with Robson and the ASI’s seasoned Finance and Accounting Department for almost two years.
Given the various complexities of a company subject to licensure in 33 states and dually regulated by the Ohio Departments of Insurance and Commerce, this indoctrination process assured Love’s preparedness to assume the highly engaged role of CFO. The ASI Board of Directors and management team welcomes Love to his new position.
Editor’s Note: American Share Insurance is a private share insurer founded in 1974 and is owned by its insured credit unions, some of which are located in the Northwest. Currently, the corporation insures the accounts of over 1 million credit union members.
