New #CreditUnionGood Hashtag Amplifies the Northwest Credit Union Movement’s Collective Giveback Story

Each and every day, credit unions live the “People Helping People” philosophy. It’s in their DNA – the basis of their founding decades ago during the Great Depression, when Americans needed safe, affordable access to credit.

Now, more than ever, credit unions are living this philosophy, helping members, Main Street, and the communities they serve as they navigate challenging times.

During a recent Marketing, Business Development & Community Outreach Council, credit union professionals suggested the Northwest Credit Union Movement create a unified way for credit unions to share their giveback stories. Thus, #CreditUnionGood was born.

This hashtag and collateral provides credit unions with a convenient way to share images and logos that will help amplify their stories and connect those stories to the collective Northwest Credit Union Movement.

When credit unions make donations to help their communities, that’s #CreditUnionGood in action! When they help a local business with an SBA loan, volunteer to distribute food, or send meals to healthcare workers, that’s also #CreditUnionGood.

The hashtag’s graphics are broken down into three categories:
  • Supporting Families
  • Keeping Main Street Strong
  • Supporting the Community
