Nominations for the National CUNA Awards Now Being Accepted


Every day, credit unions set out to make a difference for their members, employees, and communities — it’s what they do best! This undeniable commitment to the “People Helping People” philosophy is important to celebrate, as it helps further the Credit Union Movement.

One great way to do that is through CUNA’s National Awards, which recognize outstanding credit unions’ exceptional dedication to youth and adult financial education, member service, and community impact.

CUNA Award categories include:

Northwest credit unions are living these values each and every day. They’re strongly encouraged to enter and showcase their work, including the many ways they’ve helped members and their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nominations for this year’s awards are now being accepted, and the deadline for entries has been extended to July 31. Credit unions are invited to submit their entries that apply to the dates of  Jan. 1, 2019, up through the deadline date of July 31, 2020.

If completing a formal awards nomination is not in the cards for this year, credit unions can still share their amazing community impact stories with their own audiences via a customizable template.

Please share templates with the Northwest Credit Union Association, so that we may promote that work on various channels. Send completed templates to Maija Noll, NWCUF Development and Program Coordinator, and stay tuned for more details on regional awards in the coming weeks.
