Get Ready for CU Learning TRAXX!

In consideration of the unique and unexpected challenges credit unions have faced this year, the Northwest Credit Union Association has decided to pause its 2020 Executive Summit and MAXX conference, originally scheduled to be held this summer and fall.

Inspired by the confident and creative steps credit unions have taken to fulfill member needs in the last couple of months, NWCUA has been brainstorming fresh opportunities to engage and support credit unions and provide them with innovative programming suited to their immediate and future needs.

In addition to its already-rich Councils, webinars, seminars, workshops, and training sessions, NWCUA is pleased to announce CU Learning TRAXX, a high-level content series designed to meet credit unions where they are with relevant speakers, engaging discussion, and future-focused education.

“While we are putting our MAXX convention and Executives Summit on hold this year, we’re looking forward to convening Northwest credit unions in a new way,” said NWCUA President and CEO, Troy Stang. “If we’ve learned anything in the last several months, it’s that our members have found tremendous value from collaborating with one another and with their Association.”

CU Learning TRAXX will be delivered through a new virtual learning platform that puts traditional webinars to shame, covering timely topics focused on member experience, financial stability and growth, the next wave of fintech, and much more.

“Right now, Northwest credit unions are looking at how to best serve their members, stay connected with the Credit Union Movement, and be the first to market with creative member solutions,” Stang said. “CU Learning TRAXX fits the bill and will offer fresh, just-in-time programming that credit union staff at every level will find valuable.”

Look for more details on CU Learning TRAXX over the coming weeks, and rest assured that next year, Northwest credit unions will reunite at a better-than-ever MAXX conference.

CU4Kids Platform and Toolkit Coming Soon

As many MAXX attendees know, the annual Credit Unions for Kids Auction and Gala is an important and beloved event that raises essential funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. With the MAXX convention paused this year, your Association is working on a virtual platform and toolkit for credit unions to use in their fundraising efforts.

To fill the fundraising void left by the MAXX Auction and Gala, NWCUA will also host a fun-filled virtual auction later this fall. So, get ready for some friendly, online “co-opetition,” and stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
