Oregon Governor Kate Brown Thanks Credit Union Workers in New Video

Credit union teams have brought member services to new heights amid COVID-19. They quickly shifted their branch lobbies to safe, socially distanced environments and pivoted large portions of their workforces to remote work. They never missed a beat helping to meet their members’ financial needs.

As credit union advocates and the Northwest Credit Union Association shared examples of exemplary services with media and elected officials, Oregon Governor Kate Brown took notice. She has shared a special message thanking the more than 5,000 professionals who serve two million members across the state.

“Not-for-profit, cooperative credit unions were born during tough times, in the Great Depression. You may not have known it when this all started, but you are built for this.”
— Kate Brown, Oregon Governor
