OCCU Eliminates Checking Account Fees to Better Support Members
May 15, 2020
Oregon Community Credit Union (OCCU) has recently reduced or eliminated more than 40% of member account-related fees. Fee eliminations include monthly service charges, non-qualifications and temporary check fees, as well as the non-sufficient funds (NSF) fee.
Ron Neumann, President and CEO, is passionate about finding opportunities to support OCCU members. “We are committed to helping our members make the most of their dollars and eliminating account fees is one way we can proactively help them do that,” Neumann said. “In fact, with our recent round of account fee eliminations, we now offer truly free, no-fee checking accounts, some of which even earn interest.”
