Credit Unions Encouraged to Use Customizable Template to Share Their Outstanding Work
May 5, 2020
Credit unions are working around the clock to go the extra mile for members, their communities, and employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their services, such as loan deferrals, mortgage relief, and SBA Paycheck Protection Program loans are lifelines to thousands across the region.
They’re also supporting staff members, fundraising for local nonprofits, dropping supplies and meals to frontline healthcare workers, and so much more.
To capture this critically important work, the Northwest Credit Union Association has created the COVID-19 Support Template, which allows credit unions to customize with their own data and share with lawmakers, members, their boards, the media, and more.
The templates, available for download and customization, can be altered to fit each credit union. Sections on the template may be filled out or deleted, depending on what applies. Logos, images, and stories may also be added to the template.
NWCUA member credit unions are encouraged to populate the template and share it with their audiences, as well as with the Association, so that it may use the aggregate data to share with lawmakers and the media.
Credit unions are asked to return their COVID-19 Support Template by end-of-day Friday, May 8, to NWCUA Development and Program Director, Maija Noll.
Credit unions are supporting members, Main Street, and Northwest communities in creative, personalized ways. Now, more than ever, illustrating the Credit Union Difference is essential.
