Credit unions are all about people — they care about their members’ financial health and are committed to educating them on best spending and saving practices. March is National Credit Education Month, and it’s the perfect time to remind members of all the ways credit unions help them establish good credit year-round.

According to data collected through the Community Impact Reporting Tool, credit unions provided financial education to nearly 130,000 members in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington through various programs and courses. They also helped members open millions of savings accounts and save a collective $6.4 billion in rainy day funds.

To help credit unions share valuable information with members regarding the ins and outs of building good credit, the Northwest Credit Union Association has added a variety of shareable content, including pre-written social media posts, tips and tricks for improving credit scores, financial expert insight, and engaging graphics.

Check it out today and start sharing with members!
