Reach New Heights at the Climb Idaho Summit
February 24, 2020
Climb Idaho, a Young Professionals group made up of Idaho credit union employees, is hosting its highly anticipated Climb Idaho Summit this spring.
The fun-filled event, to be held at the Idaho Central Credit Union Administration Building in Chubbuck, Idaho, April 19 and 20, will bring together credit union Young Professionals from across the Northwest to hear from industry leaders and discuss advocacy, leadership development, the Credit Union Difference, and more.
Notable speakers include Clarity Chief Financial Officer, Nick Fugal, and Beehive VP of Financial & Strategic Planning, Jake Denning. The Northwest Credit Union Association’s President and CEO, Troy Stang, is also presenting, along with NWCUA Grassroots Advocacy Manager, Jordan Beyer, and VP of Legislative Affairs for Idaho, Ryan Fitzgerald.
Climb Idaho was established in 2014 when the Idaho Credit Union League brought together nine credit union employees from across the state to discuss and collaborate on ways Idaho could increase engagement and enthusiasm among Young Professionals in the credit union industry.
Climb Idaho designs each of its events to be fun, engaging, and enduring, furthering the Credit Union Movement in Idaho and beyond.
Katie Bledsoe, Climb Idaho committee member and Member Services Supervisor at Northwest Christian Credit Union, based in Boise, Idaho, says these types of events help those new to the field figure out their place and purpose in the Movement.
“Having worked within the credit union community for 15 years, I’ve found that initiative can open a lot of doors and opportunities to grow in this community. That’s why I believe everyone that is able should attend the Climb Summit,” said Bledsoe. “We are planning on making this an amazing experience for all attendees by introducing you to key influencers in the community who can help you make more connections, surrounding you with people who will help fuel your passion, and giving you the tools you need to succeed in your career.”
Registration for the summit ends on March 15, so sign up today!
