Post-Launch Report for Northwest Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union Campaign to be Shared
Register today for the March 4 webinar.
The Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union campaign, launched in the Northwest in early January, is showing millions of consumers throughout the region why not-for-profit, cooperative credit unions are the better financial partner.
Credit unions throughout Idaho, Oregon, and Washington made the campaign a reality by pledging to the highly-targeted, digital-first initiative. Next month, they will have the opportunity to learn about how the campaign is doing during a March 4 webinar. All NWCUA member credit unions are encouraged to register for the webinar, scheduled to run from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. PST.
The webinar, to be co-hosted by NWCUA and the Credit Union National Association, will share initial campaign information and provide time for questions and answers. NWCUA will post the recorded webinar and other information on the Association’s Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union website shortly after the webinar.
The Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union campaign is reaching Northwest consumers through digital ads and videos on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Ads direct them to YourMoneyFurther.com, where they may learn more about the Credit Union Difference and find a nearby Northwest credit union. They are targeted to reach consumers between the ages of 25 and 54 who are looking for new financial partners or may be in the market for a mortgage or car loan.
“The Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union initiative is seeing great results across the country, and especially in Minnesota, where it has now been in front of consumers for a year,” said NWCUA SVP of Marketing and Communications, Danielle Sittu. “This campaign’s bold, engaging advertising is making an impact throughout the United States. With continued engagement and support, we anticipate good results in the Northwest, too.”
The campaign will launch in Oklahoma this week, making it live in 20 states. Other states, including Texas and Arkansas also will launch soon, and several other states are planning to launch during the second quarter.
“Momentum is growing throughout the United States,” Sittu said. “It’s exciting to see the nation’s credit unions coming together, in true cooperative spirit, to elevate the important Credit Union Difference message. This united effort will be a significant one for the Credit Union Movement.”
