Credit Unions: Share Community Impact Stories on the Marketing Resource Center
A variety of valuable marketing tools, tips, and collateral are available to further credit unions’ marketing efforts.
The Northwest Credit Union Association offers member credit unions a number of valuable resources online, including the Marketing Resource Center, which provides tools, collateral, and guides to assist in furthering credit unions’ marketing efforts.
One of those tools is the Public Awareness story submission form. At MAXX 2019 in Spokane, credit unions were reminded that by sharing their stories of community impact with lawmakers, members, and the public, they are building credit union awareness and strengthening the Movement.
NWCUA makes it a priority to share those stories far and wide. Credit unions can log in and fill out the form on the Marketing Resource Center. The Association will take credit unions’ stories to lawmakers, members, the media, and more through various channels, including articles, media releases, and social media posts.
The Marketing Resource Center also houses valuable tools, with new sections added regularly. Content includes:
- Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union Messaging and Collateral
Access resources, testimonials, a helpful FAQ, messaging collateral, and more about the credit union consideration initiative, launched in the Northwest earlier this month.
- Northwest Credit Unions’ Economic Impacts Reports
See the latest credit union economic impact reports by ECONorthwest, including state-by-state breakdowns; talking points to share with members, legislators, and other key audiences; social media posts; infographics; and videos.
- ID Theft Prevention and Response
Access shareable, ready-made resources to help members understand how to use debit and credit cards with confidence when shopping or traveling, including articles on ID theft and fraud, infographics, prevention tips, and more.
- Benefits of Membership
Find downloadable resources that include state-specific reports to help credit unions communicate the benefits of membership to potential members, staff, and local media.
- Copy Points for Credit Union Messaging
Use the center’s copy points to communicate the benefits of joining a credit union. By utilizing this positive messaging and data, credit unions can further strengthen the Credit Union Movement.
