Cascadia Chapter of Credit Unions Hosts First Event of the Year

On Jan. 23, the Cascadia Chapter held its first event of the year — the annual networking and bowling event, which brought together over 80 individuals from several credit unions across the Northwest. By coming together, they were able to showcase the cooperation credit unions exhibit daily by having fun, supporting one another, and fostering a collaborative movement for the greater good.

As the evening began, friends and teammates from past credit unions reconnected. Events like this bring credit union staff together and allow them to support and cheer each other on, share fun and exciting things that are happening, and just have some good old-fashioned fun.

To encourage more conversation, the Cascadia Chapter created a networking infographic on how to search for colleagues on LinkedIn, making it easy to connect virtually in a matter of seconds. The infographics were displayed all around the space, and attendees were encouraged to connect on LinkedIn throughout the evening.

The Cascadia Chapter couldn’t have asked for a better kickoff to the year and is excited to keep the momentum going. It hopes to propel its efforts and passion into 2020 and keep bringing engaging, educational, and impactful events to credit union peers in the Northwest.
