Kent Oram Named a 2019 GonzoBanker of the Year
Banking industry magazine recognizes Oram for growing Idaho Central Credit Union’s assets to $5 billion over 12 years.
The banking publication, Gonzo Banker, recently released its 2019 GonzoBankers of the Year awardees, recognizing Kent Oram, President and CEO of Idaho Central Credit Union, for his achievements in growing the credit union’s assets over his 12-year tenure. The publication recognizes financial industry leaders for their passion, dedication, and innovation.
“As evolution, revolution and occasional shareholder dilution occur across the industry, a leader in Idaho has quietly worked over the past 12 years on accumulating legendary performance,” the publication reported. “Under Oram’s tenure the Idaho Central “Green Machine” has grown 20% each year, from $600 million in assets to $5 billion – all while knocking out a 1.55% ROA, building strong member loyalty and creating a top rated workplace in the state.”
Oram said he was honored to be recognized by Gonzo Banker.
“The Green Team is definitely doing something very special here in Idaho,” he said. “We’re energized every day by getting to help our members achieve financial success. I can’t wait to see what the future brings for ICCU.”
Oram serves on the Northwest Credit Union Association’s Board of Directors as Vice Chair. Based in Chubbuck, Idaho, Idaho Central has 37 branches located throughout the Treasure Valley, Magic Valley, and eastern and northern areas of Idaho.
