North Idaho Chapter Raises Over $2,500 for Ronald McDonald House

North Idaho area credit unions joined together at the “International Credit Union Day Dinner” event, raising $2,682 at their famous Dollar Auction for the new Ronald McDonald House in Coeur d’Alene.

After hearing two guest speakers talk about the impact Ronald McDonald has in the community, the room began emptying their pockets to support this great cause! Hands shot up all across the room waving dollar bills, bidding on items donated by the following credit unions: STCU, Global, Horizon, Idaho Central, P1FCU, St Joe Valley, Numerica, and Mountain America.

The annual event event is organized by the North Idaho Chapter. This year the chapter broke some record numbers, raising more and seeing a bigger turnout. Every North Idaho area credit union was present.

“It’s amazing seeing the impact we can make in our community when all the credit unions come together,” said Josh Urbick, Chapter President, “This is what it’s all about, People Helping People”.
