*UPDATE* Representative Crane Joins the Celebration of Icon Credit Union’s Juntos Avanzamos Designation

Due to some technology upgrades, last week, this blog post was inadvertently sent out before it was complete.  Please find the updated version of our Advocacy on the Move Blog Post and Congratulations to Icon Credit Union!

Last week, Icon Credit Union became the first credit union in the State of Idaho to receive the Juntos Avanzamos designation.  The Juntos Avanzamos is a national designation that recognizes financial institutions that are providing safe, affordable and relevant financial services to Hispanic and immigrant consumers. Representatives from Inclusiv and the NWCUA presented the designation proclamation and flag to the Icon Credit Union team, lead by CEO, Connie Miller. Idaho State Legislator Brent Crane (R – Nampa – 13) was on hand to celebrate the hard work and commitment that Icon has made to serving the Hispanic community in Idaho.  Crane congratulated Icon on their diligent work to obtain this designation and outlined his pride in having one of only 95 credit unions, nationwide, with the Juntos Avanzamos designation showcased in his legislative district.  In addition to Representative Crane, the Mayor of Nampa, Debbie Kling, and several civic leaders were on hand to celebrate with the Icon team.
