Dolores Broeske will Take the Reins as HAPO CEO in April

Dolores Broeske has been tapped as the new President and CEO of HAPO Community Credit Union.

Dolores Broeske has been tapped as the new President and CEO of HAPO Community Credit Union. The credit union’s Board of Directors made the announcement last week. Broeske will replace retiring President and CEO, Steve Anderson, in April 2020.

Broeske has had an impressive and diverse background at HAPO since 1998, including her current role serving as Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff, which she’s held since 2016.

“There’s no better person that understands the HAPO culture and all the things that go on behind the scenes to serve our members,” said Anderson. “She has a fantastic Executive Management team to support her and a terrific frontline staff to carry out her vision.”

The credit union’s Board Chairman, Bill Tanner, echoed Anderson’s sentiments.

“The Board has great confidence that her many years of service will be of tremendous value to our staff, our members, and our community,” Tanner said.

Broeske is looking forward to the new challenge next spring, she said.

“I am humbled and honored to be given the opportunity to lead an organization that I believe so strongly in,” Broeske said. “Continuing HAPO’s legacy of providing service to our members through products that bring true value and building trusting relationships will continue to be our focus. I’m looking forward to this next chapter working alongside the wonderful people that make up our organization who genuinely believe and understand that our members are our focus.”

Tanner expressed his gratitude to Anderson for his years of dedicated service as HAPO’s leader.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, we would like to express our gratitude to Steve for his inspiring leadership of the credit union,” said Tanner. “Both Dolores and Steve, as well as all of our great staff, have been instrumental in making HAPO what it is today.”
