Young Credit Union Professionals Convene to Learn and Grow
YCUP Oregon & SW Washington credit union leaders host second annual executive roundtable to engage and collaborate with credit union executives and mentors.
The Young Credit Union Professionals of Oregon and SW Washington hosted its second annual Executive Roundtable in order to learn more and collaborate with credit union executives who lead various segments of the industry.
The second roundtable in May drew 55 credit union professionals from across the region where participants engaged in freeform group conversations with executives at different stations — they shared ideas with each other regarding avenues to further advance the health of credit unions in the financial services market.
The nimble roundtable format offered a unique opportunity to hear a dozen influential leaders share wisdom gained along their professional journeys, including tips for cultivating strong relationships and challenging the status quo. The events are organized to be simultaneously fun, relaxed, and intellectually stimulating.

Young Professionals host event in June: Hops for Hope
In an effort to continue to give back to the communities in which they do business, the YCUP Oregon & SW WA will host an evening of craft beers and delicious ciders for auction to support Credit Unions for Kids and directly benefit Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. The organization is partnering with the Cascadia Chapter of Credit Unions to offer a memorable and fun event.
Hops for Hope gets underway at Revolution Hall in Portland on Saturday, June 22 from 5-8:30 p.m. with entertainment, music, friends, fun, and many great items up for auction. Hops for Hope is open to all who want to make a difference in a child’s life.
