Idaho Capitol Chapter Growing Advocacy Expertise

This past week, a group of Idaho Capitol Chapter members raised the bar on their advocacy expertise and parliamentary procedure acumen.  The NWCUA Advocacy team had the opportunity to spend time with this impressive group of Capitol Chapter professionals in a “lunch ‘n’ learn” setting.  The discussion outlined the true purpose and importance of credit union advocacy as well as how to comfortably step into the “advocate” role based on the work the CU leaders do for their members each day.  The group spent some additional time gathering information around Robert’s Rules of Order and Democratic Rules of Order in order to continue developing their skills on meeting procedures.  It was a good day for credit union advocacy!
