Fibre Federal Credit Union Announces Executive Title Changes
Fibre’s 2018 fundraising brings in $53,000 in donations to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.
Fibre Federal Credit Union announced two changes to titles on its executive team. Angie Leppert is now Senior Vice President Chief Experience Officer, and Shelly Buller is now Senior Vice President Chief Operating Officer.
Leppert previously served as senior vice president marketing and human resources. She will have oversight of the marketing, community development/governmental affairs, human resources, and education and development departments. In this new role, she will be responsible for providing members with an exceptional experience through data–driven marketing, branding and design, and best–in–class hiring processes. For staff, she will provide core–driven education and career development.
Leppert began her career at Fibre as a teller in 1996 and previously held titles including checking advisor, marketing specialist, and vice president of marketing. She serves on the Northwest Credit Union Association’s Washington Governmental Affairs Committee and Political Action and Grassroots Advocacy Subcommittee.
Buller previously served as senior vice president member services. She will have responsibility for payment services, compliance, and operations administration. In addition, she will oversee daily operations, including maintenance for the credit union’s internal control framework, system administration, and risk management; and will have responsibility for ensuring a seamless operating environment across the entire organization.
Buller has been with the credit union for 36 years; her past job titles have included internal auditor and new accounts and payments services manager. She currently serves on NWCUA’s Regulatory Advisory Subcommittee.
Fibre’s 2018 Fundraising Nets a $53,000 Donation
A variety of fundraising activities in 2018 resulted in a donation of nearly $53,000 from Fibre to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. The credit union held a Doernbecher Days fundraiser at its 14 branch locations in the fall, along with several independent staff-driven fundraisers, including raffles and snack sales to raise nearly $33,000. This, combined with a $20,000 donation raised in early 2018 through staff fundraisers, resulted in a $52,752 donation to Doernbecher.
The top fundraising Fibre employees visited Doernbecher to present the check, tour the neonatal intensive care unit, and witness how Doernbecher cares for premature infants.
“We are passionate about supporting Doernbecher because we see the miracles they achieve every day,” said Fibre President and CEO, Christopher Bradberry.
