Around the Northwest: Mountain America Credit Union Raises $13,500 for St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital
Horizon Credit Union welcomes new Director of Payment Services; Columbia Credit Union adds a Wealth Management team member; and Rogue Credit Union honors outstanding employees and departments.
As the preferred credit union of the Boise State Broncos, Mountain America Credit Union made a commitment to donate to a charity. This year, the credit union chose to continue its support of St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho, by donating $50 for every three-pointer made by the men’s basketball team in the 2018-2019 season.
At the final home game against the Air Force on March 9, Mountain America’s Public Relations Manager, Angie Nelson, and Vice President of Corporate Sponsorships and Events, Jason Smith, presented a check for $13,500 to Sherry Iverson, St. Luke’s Children’s Director of Community Education, and Dr. Alicia Lachiondo of St. Luke’s Treasure Valley Pediatrics.
“Mountain America is proud to support St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital as they continue to grow and advance the services available to Treasure Valley families,” Smith said. “It is amazing what they are doing to improve the health and well-being of all our children.”
The Utah-based Mountain America has more than 80 branch locations in Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico.
