Two Oregon Credit Unions Voted Best Places to Work by Surveyed Employees

Oregon Business Magazine surveyed employees on work environment, management, communications, and other factors.

Oregon 100 Best CompaniesOregon Business Magazine has published its list of 2019 top 100 Best Companies to Work for in Oregon, with Rogue Credit Union and Oregon Community Credit Union scoring high marks from employees. Rogue was ranked ninth and Oregon Community was ranked 15th among large businesses with 100 employees or more. 

Thanks to their dedication to service and member-owned structure, credit unions remain a popular choice among job seekers. Credit union professionals report rewarding and fulfilling careers, and recent data highlights their popularity throughout the regionA report by ECONorthwest found that credit unions in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington provided more than 18,700 jobs with compensation closing in on $1.4 billion in 2018.  

The top companies were selected based on responses from employee-based surveys. The list recognizecompanies for excellence in work environment, management, communications, decision-making and trust, career development, learning, benefits, and compensation.  

Oregon Community President and CEO Ron Neumann described the company’s employee-centric work culture that has become central to the credit union’s organizational planning.
