CU Leaders Connect with Idaho Congressional Delegation During Recess

The 116th Congress is currently on Presidents Day recess, allowing the entire Idaho Delegation to be out in their districts to connect with constituents. NWCUA members and staff had the opportunity to connect with Senator Crapo, Senator Risch and Congressman Russ Fulcher both in their credit unions and at several events, this past week.  The delegation expressed its appreciation of the NWCUA family and their support for the local events as well as inviting members of the delegation into their credit unions. Senator Crapo shared some of his priorities for the coming months, including his intention to work with House Financial Services Chair, Maxine Waters, on the issue of federal housing finance reform, while going in depth on his strong desire to tackle issues surrounding data and privacy within the broader issue of data breach/cybersecurity.
