Governor Little Proclaims January 11th as Gavin Gee Day in the State of Idaho

Credit union leaders from every corner of Idaho were in attendance as Governor Little presented a proclamation honoring retiring Idaho Department of Finance Director Gavin Gee’s 42 years of public service to the State. The Governor’s first proclamation since taking office established January 11th, 2019 as Gavin Gee Day in the State of Idaho. The NWCUA advocacy team was pleased that Governor Little outlined the vibrant credit union landscape that exists in Idaho, and the role that outgoing Director Gee played in ensuring a competitive landscape for all of Idaho’s financial institutions. The Association will be honoring Gavin’s years of service separately at our Idaho Credit Union Day at the Capitol in front of more than 100 credit union leaders.

The NWCUA Advocacy team was pleased to work with Governor Little’s staff and the leadership team at the Idaho Department of Finance in  developing the proclamation that honored Director Gee’s service to the State of Idaho.
