Fulcher Thanks Idahoans in Quick Tour Before Taking Office

The NWCUA Advocacy Team had the opportunity to attend one of the stops on Congressman-elect Russ Fulcher’s “Thank You Tour”, which he is making around the State, before heading to Washington to be sworn into the 116th Congress.   Fulcher provided attendees with a synopsis of his last few weeks of orientation, office selection and the difficult task of building his Congressional team.  He went over his hopes and aspirations for Committee Assignments, which he has previously shared with Idaho credit union leaders.   He shared his excitement about getting started in his new position and believes that being in the House Minority will likely make him and his colleagues more effective in negotiating on behalf of their constituencies.  He, once again, thanked his supporters, including our Idaho credit union team, for their assistance in the election process.  Fulcher will be sworn in on January 3, 2019 with over 100 other men and women who are part of his Freshman class in Congress.
