Credit Unions Hone Their Advocacy Skills

On November 2, credit union professionals spent their Friday honing their advocacy skills during the the NWCUA Advocacy Training in Idaho. The day consisted of a review of the legislative process at the state and federal level, crafting a credit union story to tell elected officials and role playing how to tell that story to lawmakers. This new class of credit union ambassadors have the skills and dedication to the credit union movement that equips them for effective advocacy work in the future!

This was the last training for 2018 but be on the look out for opportunities in 2019. Of course, please reach out any time to Samantha Beeler, if you are interested in having a training at your credit union.
