Idaho Central Credit Union Helps Celebrate Milestone in Caldwell’s Revitalization

July ribbon cutting for the new Idaho Central Credit Union Stage at Indian Creek Plaza.

“Destination Caldwell” is on a mission. The 501 (c) (3) non-profit has big plans to revitalize the growing city in Idaho’s Treasure Valley. This month, community supporters cut the ribbon at the Indian Creek Plaza, a premiere gathering destination featuring concerts, community events, and ice skating.

The mainstage at the new venue will be called the “Idaho Central Credit Union Stage” in honor of the credit union’s support for the Caldwell community.

“The Plaza will be a premiere gathering place for generations to come, and we’re grateful for ICCU, businesses, and individuals who have helped to make the dream a reality,” said Kelli Jenkins, President of Destination Caldwell.

The plaza is expected to attract new businesses to the downtown district.

“This venue will be in use year-around and is a focal point of the downtown Caldwell revitalization project,” said Kent Oram, CEO of ICCU. “We have two busy branches and many members in Caldwell. We are excited for the members, and for the rest of the community, to experience this destination.”
