Financial Beginnings Oregon to Host Webinar on Empowering Students and Adults Through Financial Education
Webinar is June 25 and open to all Oregon credit unions.
Credit unions in Oregon that want to acquire the tools and resources they need to empower students and adults through financial education will have the opportunity to learn June 25 during an informational webinar.
The webinar is available to NWCUA members through Financial Beginnings Oregon and the Northwest Credit Union Foundation.
Financial Beginnings of Oregon is a nonprofit organization that provides free financial education programs to schools and community organizations statewide. Its programs are enhanced by the career experience and personal knowledge of volunteers, especially ones that work for local credit unions and financial institutions. As a volunteer-driven, community-oriented organization, it is currently looking for more volunteers to help bring financial education lessons to life.
This year, Financial Beginnings Oregon has a goal of educating over 30,000 students in Oregon on various financial literacy topics. It needs more volunteers who live and work in the communities served to help them reach their goal.
