Just five years into his Credit Union Movement Career, Nick Fugal received the Northwest Credit Union Association’s (NWCUA) 2017 Young Credit Union Leader of the Year Award.
Fugal is Chief Financial Officer of Nampa, Idaho-based Clarity Credit Union. He was honored for rapid career development, as well as for his leading role in starting Climb Idaho, a game-changing organization that galvanizes Idaho’s young credit union professionals in advocacy, leadership, and community impact.
“The Movement that’s behind all this is really exciting to me. It’s been a really great year.” said Frugal. “There are a lot of young professionals in the Northwest who are worthy, who have done a lot of work,” he noted, encouraging nominations for 2018.
Are you or is someone you know, the 2018 Young Credit Union Leader of the Year? The call to entry for the 2018 MAXX Awards is open until June 25. Other MAXX Awards recognize collaboration, innovation, and professional achievement. The regional CUNA awards for financial education and community service are also part of the program. All nominations can be submitted online.
