NWCUA, ICUL Board Election Cycle Complete
April 10, 2018
Your Northwest Credit Union Association and Idaho Credit Union League are pleased to announce updates to both Boards.
This spring, the Northwest Credit Union Association Nominating Committee announced two NWCUA Board of Directors’ terms were up for election this cycle.
The election cycle has now concluded. Debie Keesee, CEO of Spokane Media FCU, and Brooke Van Vleet, President/CEO of St. Helens Community CU, will continue their service on the NWCUA Board.
As these candidates ran uncontested, a membership vote was not necessary to conclude the 2018 NWCUA Board election process.
Additionally this year, Shane Berger, President/CEO of Beehive Federal Credit Union, resigned from ICUL’s Board. You’ll still see Berger’s footprint on the CU landscape; he plans to focus the remaining years of his career on leading Beehive FCU and will continue his passionate service to the World Council of Credit Unions. We extend our gratitude to Berger for his years of dedicated service.
In accordance with ICUL bylaws, your Executive Committee has appointed Jake Denning, VP Financial & Strategic Planning of Beehive FCU as Director-at-Large, to serve out Shane’s remaining term until 2020. Denning has been serving as an Advisory Director on the ICUL Board.[table “113” not found /]
