Micro-Communities Workshop – Cooperation in Action! – June 7, 2018

Credit union micro-communities are the heartbeat of the credit union movement. They include chapters, young professional groups, the Network of Credit Union Development Educators, and Global Women’s Leadership Network Sister Societies. The June 7 Workshop will be the first-ever gathering of all these leadership groups in one place. The event takes place in Seattle at the Radisson Airport Hotel.

Credit union public awareness and new insight from the Filene Research Institute are highlights of the agenda.

Additional speakers will be announced soon.

“We know that the true spark of innovation is found within our conversations with each other and will include plenty of time for networking and roundtable discussion,” said Carmen Vigil, Northwest Credit Union Association (NWCUA) Director of Cooperative Momentum.

The program begins at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time, however, Chapter leaders should plan to attend a pre-workshop meeting at 9 a.m.
