Sept. 15: East Idaho Credit Union to host Kicks for Kids Golf Tournament

At 9 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, East Idaho Credit Union will take to Pinecrest Golf Course in Idaho Falls to host its Kicks for Kids Golf Tournament. All proceeds from the event will support East Idaho Credit Union’s Coins for Christmas Program.

Since 1984, East Idaho Credit Union has been the administrator of the Coins for Christmas Program, partnering with local schools to collect coins to buy shoes for underprivileged children in the community. The community’s need has increased over the years—in 2016, the credit union filled $20,000-worth of shoe requests. In the Salmon region, the credit union took more than 100 students to stores for shoe fittings.

The cost to participate in this year’s golf tournament is $560 per team, or $20 for lunch only. Click here for event details.

Sept. 15: Rivermark Community Credit Union Hosts its First Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Credit union professionals from across the region are invited to enjoy a round of golf at Rivermark Community Credit Union’s First Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Proceeds from the event will support the Rivermark Community Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation. The tournament will be held on Friday, Sept. 15, with check-in beginning at 12:30 p.m. and a shotgun start at 2:00 p.m. During on-course events and contests, such as “longest drive” and “closest to the pin,” participants will have the opportunity to earn raffle tickets and prizes.

The entry fee—$100 for singles, and $400 for foursomes—includes an 18-hole game, cart rental, range token, a raffle ticket, and a buffet dinner. Visit Rivermark’s website to find more details and purchase tickets.
