Northwest Credit Union Association Announces 2017 Spectrum Marketing Awards

The honors were presented during the NWCUA Marketers’ Conference May 4.

SEATAC, WA. –Sixteen credit unions from Idaho, Oregon, and Washington won Spectrum Marketing Awards during the Northwest Credit Union Association’s (NWCUA) Marketers’ Conference May 4. Spectrum Awards recognize excellence in branding, marketing, public relations, and community impact.

Spectrum Cup

The Spectrum Cup award was established in 2014 to “honor the credit union that truly owns the night.” First Tech Federal Credit Union took home the trophy after winning first-place honors in three other categories.

Best-in-Show

Two credit unions which received the same score, right down to the decimal point, received Best-in-Show honors. A tie is unprecedented in the Spectrum Awards’ decade-long history. Winning for its rebranding campaign, “For the Love of People” was Tacoma, Washington-based TAPCO Credit Union. Honored for its’s multi-platform campaign “Get Out Here” was St. Helens, Oregon-based St. Helens Community CU.
