WA Rep. Denny Heck Named to Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence

Joint Base Lewis-McChord, was named to the U.S. House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence recently. Heck is the first member of the Washington delegation to sit on the panel since 2010.

“We’re proud to have a critical Northwest voice on this important panel,” added NWCUA SVP of Advocacy Jennifer Wagner. “Rep. Heck brings a unique perspective from the Northwest that the intelligence community will find valuable.”

While Rep. Heck joins the panel which has oversight responsibility the U.S. intelligence community, he told The Olympian recently that he plans to continue serving on the House Financial Services Committee, as well.
