Thinking of Engaging with the NW MESA Program? There’s a Webinar for That

Late last year, we shared how the Northwest MESA—or Matched Education Savings Account—program is growing in neighboring states like Montana. There, 550 students had opened accounts, receiving more than $521,000 in matching funds.

As credit unions in the Northwest look at bringing the Northwest MESA program to their members, the Northwest Credit Union Foundation is bringing them together, offering a training webinar to help answer questions.

Scheduled for February 8, the training will provide your credit union with the information you need to participate in the Northwest MESA program. It will cover the credit union’s role and expectations as a partner so you can begin promoting and opening accounts for participants.

Who should attend?

Any credit union staff that will be responsible for the Northwest MESA Program at your credit union. This includes staff that will be promoting the program, opening accounts, accepting qualified withdrawals, and educating credit union staff about the program.

If you have any questions about this webinar please contact NWCUA Program Manager Kaitlin Ramos at kramos@nwcua.org.
