Rogue Credit Union, Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union, and Oregon State Credit Union, all finished 2016 with strong support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, raising more than $85,000 between them.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Doernbecher and Sacred Heart, will benefit from $36,000 generated through an internal campaign at Oregon State Credit Union. This is the fifth consecutive year that the credit union has sent these matched funds to the Children’s Miracle Network and that five-year total now stands at $141,000.
Oregon State Credit Union CEO Richard Hein said, “The Credit Unions for Kids effort actually started in the state of Oregon and spread nationwide. Our team has found a way to invest in the credit union’s future and at the same time contribute to the future of kids. I couldn’t be more proud of their generosity.”
In a separate event, Rogue Credit Union was joined by Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union to present a check for $50,000 to Asante Children’s Miracle Network, along with red wagons of toys to the hospital’s pediatric unit.
Funds Follow Final Tally for Credit Unions for Kids Auction Passing $300,000 Goal by $20,000
With a lofty goal of raising $300,000 for Credit Unions for Kids during the annual auction at MAXX, Northwest credit unions sailed past that target recently.
Thanks to the collaborative efforts of a packed room of bidders at MAXX, Your Association sent a check for $320,330 to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals recently—$20,000 over the original goal. All of these donations would not be possible without the continued commitment from all Northwest credit unions. As always, your devotion and dedication is inspiring.
