On the Move: STCU Gains Three in Leadership, Community Development Roles

Mike Towan is STCU’s new information security manager. Towan brings more than 17 years of IT experience to the position, most recently working as enterprise security manager for URM Stores. He also helped lead information security programs at Imprezzio Solutions and Coldwater Creek. Towan is pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in information security at Western Governors University, and he has three associate’s degrees from Ohlone College in Fremont, California.

Sherrie Thompson is STCU’s new real estate operations manager. Thompson’s mortgage and management experience spans nearly 20 years, including a role as regional operations manager at Umpqua Bank. Thompson received a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Gonzaga University.

Marcee Hartzell joins STCU as a community development officer. Hartzell previously worked as the fund development coordinator at Kootenai Health Foundation. She also brings more than 15 years of experience in K-12 outreach and program development. Hartzell earned a Bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations at the University of Washington. She also has an associate’s degree from North Idaho College.
