CUs Have a Chance to Influence Economic Agenda Heading Into Leadership Summit

Though the election season comes to a close Tuesday, the issues will remain—particularly with state legislatures preparing to gavel into session.

In Oregon, the Oregon Leadership Summit, billed as the state’s premier economic policy event, is an effort from the Oregon Business Council to “create jobs, raise incomes, and reduce poverty” in the state. With the summit just four weeks away, Oregon credit unions have a chance to share their input on a pre-session survey, and be represented during the summit.

Attendees can register here. Leaders from across Oregon’s public and private sectors will visit the Oregon Convention Center to discuss these issues and shape the agenda for the year ahead.

Survey included

Organizers also asked for business community input on what they believe will help Oregon’s economy thrive. The 5-10 minutes to complete our survey on what’s working, what’s not, and what they should consider doing differently is available here.
