Young CU Pros Urged to “Crash” Feb GAC in Washington

The Cooperative Trust is joining CUNA along with state leagues and associations to send young credit union professionals to 2017 Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) as part of Crash the GAC.

One crasher will be chosen from each state, along with the District of Columbia, and a wild card candidate. The 52 crashers will receive free conference registration, which includes attendance at keynote and breakout conference sessions, congressional meetings, and crasher sessions with important leaders in the credit union movement.

Your Association’s Grassroots Grant Fund and the Northwest Credit Union Foundation can help foot the bill, each through a $1,000 scholarship. Travel, hotel, and food costs are the responsibility of each crasher’s credit union.

Young professionals are invited to apply by submitting a 60-second video on why he or she should be chosen to Crash the GAC. The submission deadline is 11:59 PM on Wednesday, November 23. Feel free to contact The Cooperative Trust with any questions.
