Back to Reality: NWCUF Launching Second Financial Reality Fair Extravaganza

In April, hundreds of students around the Northwest engaged in real-world financial literacy exercises and planning. Partnering with schools throughout the region and the Northwest Credit Union Foundation, Northwest credit unions provided real, tangible lessons to high school students.

Now, in celebration of International Credit Union Day, more credit unions will have the chance to spread smart financial planning to students with the help of pre-packaged, turn-key financial reality fair kits.

Valued at more than $600 each, the kits will be gifted to credit unions who are looking for a turn-key financial education program that can be used to celebrate the CU Difference on International Credit Union Day. We hope that you will join us on October 20.

“The Financial Reality Fair Extravaganza in April was hugely popular, reaching more than 600 students around the Northwest,” said Kaitlin Ramos, Program Manager for NWCUA. “We’re hopeful that more credit unions will utilize these resources for International Credit Union Day in October.”
