24 NW CUs Secure Nearly $249,000 in NCUA Grants

More than two dozen Northwest credit unions have been awarded National Credit Union Administration grants totaling more than $248,000. The grants will allow credit unions to increase capacity across focus areas and better serve members’ evolving needs.

“It’s exciting to see so many Northwest credit unions take advantage of the application and secure the grants,” said NWCUA AVP of Regulatory Affairs John Trull. “I congratulate each of them and look forward to seeing how they can use the additional support to continue serving their members.”

Among the credit unions received “Capacity and Growth Initiative” grants totaling $150,000:

14 Northwest credit unions received “Cybersecurity” grants totaling $95,900:

In addition Newrizons Federal Credit Union (Hoquiam, WA) received a staff training award.
