New Clackamas FCU Branch Coming Later This Summer

Clackamas Federal Credit Union (Milwaukie, OR) will open its seventh branch in Happy Valley, Ore., later this summer. The full-service branch will be located at SE Sunnyside Road and 122nd Avenue next to MOD Pizza in the Sunnyside Crossing complex which is anchored by Walgreens and McDonald’s.

The new location will have offices available for financial and mortgage consultations as well as a 24-hour ATM, according to a recent announcement and in later interviews.

The branch opening symbolizes a renewal of sorts for the surrounding Happy Valley neighborhood, which as soon as 2008 was suffering. Now, population growth comes on the heels of commercial success in the area.

“Happy Valley was hit especially hard by the 2008 recession and we have quite a few members in the area. So it has been encouraging to see the community rally. And we know there are more residents in this community who will benefit from a local credit union branch,” said CEO Mary Greco. “We look forward to providing greater access for our members east of Interstate 205 and to better serve Clackamas County as a whole.”

Stay tuned for additional Anthem stories on how new branches continue to develop throughout the Northwest as credit unions adapt to evolving technologies, spacial design and member needs.
