NW Priority Hosting Rooftop Grill-Off June 1

Indigo @ twelve|west in downtown Portland, site of the upcoming Grill-Off event.

Portland-based NW Priority Credit Union is set to host a ‘Rooftop Grill-Off‘ on June 1, to support The Portland Kitchen, a no-fee, comprehensive year-long after-school culinary program to low-income and at-risk youth ages 14-18.

The event will pair students from The Portland Kitchen with local chef “mentors” and compete to provide our panel of “celebrity judges” — including Chef Bonnie Molares, Executive Chef of Kachka restaurant; Geoff Latham, Founder and President of NickyUSA, a leading butcher in the Northwest leading butcher; and NW Priority Credit Union CEO Mark Turnham. Missy Maki of Simple Kitchen w/Missy Maki (AM860) will also serve as special guest emcee.

Appetizers will be provided by Chefstable and New Seasons Market, beer from Buoy Beer, wine-tastings from Catman Cellars. The view, from the top of the Indigo @ twelve|west building in downtown Portland, promises to be spectacular.
