CUNA Recruitment Campaign Earns ASAE Gold Circle Award

Last week, the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) was recognized by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) with a 2016 Gold Circle Award in the Membership Recruitment category for its “Go All In with CUNA Councils” campaign.
According to the announcement, the Gold Circle Awards competition recognizes excellence, innovation, and achievement in association/nonprofit marketing, membership and communications programs in 11 categories.
“Our member credit unions really engaged with CUNA’s Go All In with CUNA Councils campaign which truly drove the success of the program,” said CUNA President & CEO Jim Nussle. “As a national trade association, we’re honored by ASAE’s recognition of this effective program.”
“To be one of only 10 national associations to be recognized with a Gold Circle Award from ASAE is a huge honor,” said David Rohn, CUNA Councils vice president. “The Go All In with CUNA Councils campaign was truly was a team effort–from passionate and dedicated member volunteers to creative and hard-working CUNA staff, it came together in a way that reflected the commitment and passion of everyone involved with the activity. With so many other national associations submitting their own outstanding work, it was especially rewarding to have our membership recruitment campaign considered the best of the best.”
Award winners will be recognized at a ceremony during ASAE’s Marketing, Membership & Communications Conference held in Washington, D.C., June 13-14.
